10 good habits everyone should work on adding to their life..

  1. After your morning shower/bath, etc. tidy up your sleeping space.
  2. Eat a fiber and protein rich breakfast, have moderate amounts for lunch, supper and snacks.. Sometime during the day do some kind of exercise.
  3. Educate yourself. Read a lot. Volunteer to go to trainings. Get any certification you can. Cultivate a body of knowledge that grows everyday, even after retirement.
  4. Spend a few minutes at the beginning of each day reflecting on gratitude and what ways you can address the suffering of others, if only for a moment. Set aside time for unhurried meditation or worship.
  5. Work smart. Sleep well. Be ethically and morally upright.
  6. Smile. It is a small gift to others, but if you smile a lot, you will feel more happy too.
  7. Spend modestly, save for the unknown. Always remember to give to charity.
  8. Hang out with other happy, thrifty, honorable people. Your company that you keep, says a lot about you.
  9. One of the qualities of those who have community acceptance and often are millionaires, is the number of showers they take. More than average, less than having a germ phobia.
  10. Dress nicely. If you buy everything from a thrift you can still look nice. Unless you work for UPS, shorts, cargo pants, any clothing with camouflage, advertising, or compromises your dignity should never be worn at work. (The amount of skin you reveal should be reasonable and not excessive.)
Do all that and relationships with quality folks will happen. Seems like too much emphasis on appearrances, but in most offices and work environments, being reliably clean and dressed to fit into the culture of your workplace, will be a good thing. Even if you work someplace with uniforms, yours can be ironed and crisply starched everyday.
