Just months after the dismissal of his dramatic $20 million herpes lawsuit, the R&B singer and his now-ex announced the news of their split via a joint statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday. They revealed:

"After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward."

For those who haven't been keeping up with the artist, he and Grace have been married two years, and have been together almost 10!

It's said the former couple have been separated for a couple of months now.
