Following Matthew Perry's passing, his "devastated" friends and coworkers released a joint statement.

Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and Matthew Perry, a costar and "family" member, are discussed about his passing.

Friends actors Matthew Perry's cast members have opened up about his untimely death.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer released a joint statement to PEOPLE on Monday expressing how quickly they were grieving his loss and promising to honour him further at a later time.

"Matthew's passing has devastated us all deeply. On the show, we were more than simply coworkers. They remarked, "We are one big family." "There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the group continued. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

The Friends star drowned, apparently, and died over the weekend at his Los Angeles home. As soon as word of the actor's passing broke, social media was quickly flooded with condolences for the actor, whose life and work had influenced millions of people worldwide. Most of the posts were written by colleagues who had worked with Perry over the years.

He was 54.

Game Of Thrones Battle: Best Is Yet To Come .

The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is currently being shot, and it appears that the show has broken its own record in shooting a ginormous battle sequence - perhaps the final battle between the living and the dead.

Game of Thrones, probably the biggest TV show these days, keeps pushing the boundaries of television production. It is one of the most expensive shows ever, thanks to ever-generous HBO, and the high budget allows the showrunners to shoot sprawling battles scenes that would not otherwise be possible on the small screen. Cases in point: Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards and the dragons v/s White Walkers sequence last season. The final season is currently being shot, and it appears that the show has broken its own record in shooting a ginormous battle sequence – perhaps the final battle between the living and the dead.

One of the assistant directors of the show, Jonathan Quinlan posted this image (below), thanking the cast and crew for working so hard to shoot the sequence in “sub-freezing temperatures. Quinlan said in the caption, “Says it all. 55 consecutive nights. 11 weeks. 3 locations. You’ll never again see anything like it.” Of course, he had to delete the image later – likely asked to do so by the showrunners and/or HBO executives since this could potentially be a spoiler. But image exists thanks to the aware folks at Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall.

As the different noble families fight amongst themselves, the Night King (basically the Satan of Westeros) is coming with a huge army of zombies. The Wall is down thanks to Viserion, who after dying has switched teams from Daenerys Targaryen. So the Night King, who can kill dragons with spears and gives an unblinking, hard stare, is in Westeros to kill everyone with zombies (the Dawn of the Dead kind, not The Walking Dead kind).

The ensuing battle is sure going to be epic, and no fan should really mind the delay as long as the end product is good. But let us also hope that the final season is not buried under CGI spectacle which, while good to look at, was not really why people fell in love with the show.

Game of Thrones returns (hopefully) next year.

The Walking Dead cast: Star demanded to be KILLED OFF 'I don't want to do this anymore'

Jeffrey DeMunn, who starred as Dale Horvath, asked showrunners if he could be killed off during the second run of the series.

He was one of the original six characters to appear in The Walking Dead premiere along with Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan Jones (Lennie James).

Unfortunately he didn’t last very long in the post-apocalyptic world as he was disemboweled by a walker in series two.

Now, Jeffrey has revealed it was his decision for Dale to be killed after he learned that executive producer Frank Darabont was fired from the show in 2011.

“Dale’s death was my decision,” the actor told Cleveland.com.

“I was furious about how Frank was pushed out of the show.

“I spent a week not being able to take a full breath. And then I realised, ‘Oh, I can quit.’”

Jeffrey went on to add: “So I called them and said, ‘It’s a zombie show. Kill me. I don’t want to do this any more.’

Speaking to press including Express.co.uk, Tom dished: “Well, you have the script for the episode but actually, some of the actors who aren’t regulars don’t get the scripts for the episode and just get their scenes so that’s pretty tough.

“When I joined the show I had to beg for a schedule… like, when am I shooting these scenes? They’re very secretive about all that kind of stuff.

“That can be quite frustrating at time but it is from episode to episode. We don’t get told where we are going to be at the beginning.”

5 Biggest Moments from 'The Walking Dead'

After last week’s lackluster episode, The Walking Dead returned with an exciting, meaningful episode. With suspenseful confrontations, mysterious encounters and surprising betrayals, the episode proved to be extremely refreshing. Here are the top five moments from Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead.

1. Maggie found an intriguing new character

Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Enid (Katelyn Nacon) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) discovered an interesting signal when looking out from the Hilltop. The signal contained an invitation to meet with traders who had a “key to the future.” The women agreed to meet with the traders and found an odd, older woman named Georgie, and two female guards. Georgie wanted Maggie to fill a crate with food and vinyl records in exchange for knowledge. Maggie decided to bring them back to the Hilltop before making up her mind. Rosita and Enid thought the idea was stupid and wanted to rob them of their supplies. However, Michonne remembered Carl’s (Chandler Riggs) message of acceptance and urged Maggie to trust them.

In the end, Maggie decided to trust Georgie and gave her supplies. In return, Georgie gave the Hilltop food and a book titled A Key to a Future. The book laid out instructions on how to build things such as aqueducts, windmills and other things needed for a society. Before she left, Georgie promised that she would be back to see all that the Hilltop accomplishes. The gesture showed that the group still can trust other individuals and gave Maggie the tools needed to build the Hilltop further.

2. Rick confronted Negan
Hell-bent on revenge, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) seized his opportunity to kill Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) when he saw the Saviors driving. He then crashed into Negan and attempted to shoot him, but Negan fled into a nearby building. Here, the two had a showdown. Negan tried to make a deal with Rick, stating that if Rick got the Hilltop, Kingdom and Alexandria to fall in line, he would cut the amount of food that the Saviors take. Rick declined the offer because he saw what happened to Jadis’s (Pollyanna McIntosh) people. This shocks Negan because Simon (Steven Ogg) told him that he only killed one of Jadis’s people. Rick then found Lucille, Negan’s baseball bat, and lit it on fire, enraging Negan. The two fought until Negan reclaimed Lucille and escaped out of a nearby window, mysteriously disappearing.

Rick has continued to go against what Carl told him to do. Whether he is blinded by his rage or need for revenge, his actions will likely end up causing more problems. Also, with Negan offering Rick a deal, it proves that Negan may be losing faith in his battle against Rick.
3. Negan learned about the Scavengers
Once Rick told Negan about what happened to Jadis and her people, Negan was shocked. He specifically instructed Simon not to kill more than one person, but Simon had other plans. He killed all of her people and then lied to Negan about it. Negan has been growing increasingly frustrated with Simon, resulting in a tension between the two men. As the two begin to doubt each other, the fate of the Saviors is unknown.
4. Simon takes a stand
When Negan’s car was hit by Rick’s, Simon and Dwight (Austin Amelio) went to look for him. While looking, Simon expressed his doubt in Negan’s plan. He suggested it wouldn’t work because Rick and Maggie never back down. The two eventually find Negan’s car overturned, but see no trace of Negan. Rather than look for him, the men agreed to tell their people that Negan is gone. Back with their group, Simon declared himself the new leader and encouraged them to destroy the Hilltop entirely. Dwight nervously looked on, knowing that Simon’s leadership would have dangerous consequences for everyone.
5. Jadis found Negan
When Negan jumped out of the window to escape, he seemingly disappeared. However, in the last scene of the episode, it was revealed that he had been kidnapped by Jadis. Negan woke up inside a car with Jadis driving and pointing a gun at his head.

Jadis thinks that Negan ordered her people to be killed, so she will likely seek revenge against him. Rick also refused to help her, leaving viewers wondering what she’ll really do with Negan and where she’ll take him. Also, with Negan kidnapped, Simon is free to do whatever he likes with the Saviors in Negan’s absence. Overall, the episode proved to be extremely refreshing as it strayed from its typical plot lines and audiences are eagerly anticipating what will happen to the characters as the show explores new territory.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.

Game of Thrones' final episode will feature LOTS of character deaths, hints HBO exec...."One by one they started to fall down to their deaths."

A HBO executive has hinted there will be a lot of character deaths in the final ever episode of Game of Thrones.

Speaking at the Best of HBO panel at the INTV Conference in Israel, the channel's senior vice president of drama Francesca Orsi recounted her experience of being at the table read for the finale, where actors were forced to read out their own characters' demises without warning.

Brutal.

"[The table read] was a really powerful moment in our lives and our career," she said (via Variety).

"None of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started to fall down to their deaths."

Game of Thrones won't return to screens until 2019, following the reveal that the final season will be delayed a whole year and every episode could potentially be feature-length.

Nonetheless, filming on the season is well under way in Northern Ireland, leading to inevitable speculation and potential spoilers about what will occur in the final season.

If you don't want to know – here's your spoiler warning to look away now or have zombie Mountain gouge out your eyes.

First up, there's the return of Lena Headey's body double, meaning we are likely to see a naked Cersei in some capacity during the final season.

We also know a huge new castle is being built on location, although what for, we can't be sure.

Nevertheless, it could have something to do with the fact Winterfell is likely to burn down in season eight, as the set was pictured up in flames earlier this year.

Oh, and the character Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) may have an unlikely but major hand in the final season's proceedings, as he was spotted drinking with the likes of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
